IPhone 17 Pro Dummy Leaks Reveal Major verhaul of its Rear Camera Design

Dummy models of the iPhone 17 Pro have started showing up ahead of its official release and they reveal a major redesign of the back camera along with some big hardware upgrades

The hype around the iPhone 17 series has been growing for a while now with several pictures of the standard Pro and Pro Max models making the rounds online Recently one of the dummy units of the iPhone 17 Pro went viral on social media There was also a report from a user who claimed to have seen the Pro model being used by a woman on a test flight to Bangladesh While many of these pictures might be fake the excitement among Apple fans is very real

One of the most talked about leaks came from popular tipster Majin Bu who shared images of the iPhone 17 Pro dummy unit on his X account The pictures showed a brand new rear camera layout Unlike the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max which also had three cameras the new version seems to have a much larger camera module All three lenses are placed in a bold horizontal strip with the LED flash in the top right corner and a separate LiDAR scanner with its own small LED light

The iPhone 17 Pro is also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM across all models which would be a big jump for Apple Other expected upgrades include better battery life and the long awaited addition of fast charging both wired and wireless

When it comes to the camera the Pro model might include two 48MP sensors and one 12MP sensor at the back All of this will likely be powered by Apple’s next generation A19 Pro Bionic chip
